Jackson JS30 Dinky

Another from Jackson's stripped down range, this is the classic Dinky (basically a modernised, more comfortable Strat style) shape, in a basic fixed bridge format. This one has a cracking neck, slick and fast, with a pair of Jackson humbuckers. The tone is full and biting, with enough power to get the amp working. With heavier strings it would be a great down-tuned beast. Fantastic value at only :

£599
Fender Joe Strummer Telecaster
This is the limited edition Joe Strummer Tele - in its Road Worn Relic finish. A nice touch from Fender, they've made an affordable signature model with bags of character. The neck is great, it feels like a proper custom Tele, and the tone is stunning - this is the brightest, most biting Tele I've ever had. What a guitar. And you don't even have to scratch it yourself. Complete with a good hard case - and Joe may have abused the Tele, but his roadie really looked after that case - and complete with the limited edition set of transfers, for that authentic look. There are only going to be 1500 of these, so it is genuinely limited. Was £799 - (!) - so this is a bargain.
£199
Hamer Echotone
This is a semi-solid set neck guitar from Hamer, a famous US brand producing a budget range in China (where else?). These guitars are well made, far beyond their price, and feel and sound the way they should. I rate the range highly. This one has a full, classic tone and plays really nicely. It's still in the shop, surprisingly, so I've put it on special - the normal price is £299 so this is good value. Complete with a gig bag.
£169

Squier Hot Strat NEW LOWER PRICE
A good Standard Series Squier, with Duncan Designed rail humbuckers. These give a very high output with low noise, while maintaining the single coil characteristics that make a Strat a Strat. This Strat rocks. Hard. A great option for classic rock (and blues on the neck pickup is superb). Brilliant value, complete with gig bag.

SOLD
Fender Standard Fat Strat
This is an instrument for the player who needs a bit more power from their guitar, being a Strat from the Mexican stable with a good powerful humbucker at the bridge. This gives the classic Strat feel and sound from the neck and middle positions, with added grunt (Technical Term) at the bridge, where it's needed for that rock tone. A good combination for a more versatile guitar. On special for a fantastic deal - these ususally go for £429 complete with a gig bag.
£299
Fender Standard Stratocaster
This is a Standard by nature and by name, a well made good sounding decent guitar - with the Fender pedigree. They have a genuine Strat feel and sound, with solid hardware and that elusive character that is often missing from affordable guitars. A great buy for home or stage on special in white, normally these sell for £349 complete with a gig bag.
£129

Vintage VJ100

This is a lovely set neck guitar with a good neck and a great Rock'n'Roll sound from the single P90. Simple and effective, for some reason it's still here, so it's on special at a cracking price - these are usually £169

SOLD

Lag Arkane

This is a good rock guitar with a nice Floyd Rose bridge and EMG select pickups for a crisp, powerful modern sound. It plays very well and like all Lags is very comfortable to hold and play. this is a good modern guitar. I have ordered a few of these on one of those deals that crop up occaisionally, so I'm over stocked. These RRP for £479, I normally sell them for £299 but I have the last couple at this price - 'cos it's Summer.

PS These have almost gone - one left

£399

Fender Jazz Bass Standard

This is one of my more popular standard items - why this is still here is anyone's guess. It has a nice neck, good balance and a great classic sound. Everything as it should be. And it's in Sunburst, the most popular colour. I don't know. Anyway, these normally sell for just £449 but this one's on the special, complete with a gig bag.

£129

Brunswick 12 string

It's Summer - acoustics are the thing. This is a nice, playable 12, with a good tone. Normally £149 this is here because it should be. Complete with gig bag. Remember, no Stairway.

PS These are running out - only a couple left

£49

Brunswick Rodeo Acoustic SOLD OUT

A cut above the normal beach guitar, these are very playable with a decent tone, so you can enjoy that midnight chorus of Kumbaya. They will also last as a guitar for learning, backup etc. Complete with a bag, they normally sell for £79

£99

Tanglewood Evolution Acoustic SOLD OUT

A very nice toneful acoustic with a bright, clean sound. These cut very nicely against background noise (like that chorus of Kumbaya) and have the feel of a more expensive instrument. Normally £129, these are on special complete with a gig bag to give a good instrument for the garden strumming - need I point out that barbecues do not need any Stairway?

£299

Yamaha Pacifica 812

This is a top of the line Pacifica - a quality neck coupled to decent wood for the body - and a hardware list that reads like a wish list for lesser guitars. It has a set of Seymour Duncan pickups (with a coil tap on the bridge), and Sperzel locking machineheads (my favourite). The Yamaha trem system is superb, and with the Sperzels very stable. I've sold these for studio and stage use, and they are stunningly effective, professional guitars. I no longer deal with Yamaha, and found this in my store box. These sold for £599 which was a bargain, so this special offer is an unrepeatable chance to get such a high quality instrument.

£299

Maverick F1 - Only Red left

The last of the late, lamented Maverick company's standard working rock guitars, still a great, well made instrument with a solid trem and powerful sound. The red I've got left plays well and looks very smart. Was £499 and I've found the last of the genuine Maverick F-series gig bags (very rare, they weren't often produced) which I'll throw in with the guitar. A bargain.

£169

Squier Double Fat Strat

A '70s inspired Standard with a comfortable neck and a pair of decent humbuckers to give the feel of a Fender and the sound of a Gibson. Good for any style of music, this is a nice guitar with loads of character in a vintage style walnut matt finish. Complete with gig bag. On special and why not.

Casio Privia 410 Ensemble Piano

This is a vey nice piano with almost every extra feature that could be found added on. It has a full rhythm section, with loads of choice of styles and sounds, a drawbar organ setting (you can even change the pipe lengths) and several recording options. The tone is fantastic throughout even for the individual instruments such as sax and guitar. The organ setting is a treat, enabling all those great Hammond sounds to come out of a piano. The piano itself is very usable, the tone is excellent, and the action heavy enough for response and light enough for comfort. an all round superb instrument. It comes complete with a solid stand, but can be easily detached for transport. Normally these are £599 but it's time for a special.

£299

Kustom The Defender Valve Amp

It's Summer, so make some noise. This is a good, ALL valve 50 watt 1x12" guitar combo, ideally suited as a blues amp, or for use with FX pedals for added depth and power. A very simple amp it relies on pure tone, and does a good job too. It has a boost channel, to give a lift - very effectively - for solos. I've put a footswitch in with it. These are normally only £399 so this is a very good special - upset those neighbours, but no Stairway!

Zenith Studio Drum Outfit

This is a nice little starter drum outfit - 5 piece with crash and hihat cymbals. They are in a studio size - slightly smaller for a tighter (quieter!) sound and a smaller footprint. This also makes it easier for shorter arms to reach. A good solution for beginners as they aren't tiny like children's kits, but not as huge as a rock kit. Such good value, it even includes a stool in the price. Available currently in red, white or blue.

ONLY WHITE AND BLUE LEFT

£169
£69

Onerr Digital Delay

A good value, high quality delay pedal, these have a fine sound, and are built to a very high standard - you can stomp on it. The tone is excellent, clean and with enough time for most applications. Easy to use with a simple control layout, and an effective 'Hold' mode. Great value - these were £109.

£39

Onerr Overdrive

Another good pedal from Onerr, these are a natural, powerful overdrive, very effective with either transistor or valve amps - and built to a usable standard. Straightforward controls make this easy to use. Were £49 these are superb value. We also have a few other Onerrs left at good prices, but stocks are starting to run out.

£9.99

EXP Strings

These are the D'Addario coated acoustic strings, giving a bright punch, and long life, to an already good string. Very good tone, across the gauges (we have 10, 11, 12 and 13 gauges in stock, at the moment). Normally £14.99, these are a good buy for that Summer Strumalong in the garden (because the rain won't kill them as quickly).

LIMITED STOCKS - ONLY 10s AND 12s LEFT

Drumbeat Marching Conga

It does what it says on the tin. This is a conga for carrying - ideal to accompany that Summer Strumalong we've mentioned. Good fun, and a nice instrument that won't be out of place in any percussion set-up. Complete with a shoulder strap these are normally £69.

The quality of the guitar lends itself to any level and it is packaged with a gig bag at only:

Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet

One of Gretsch's affordable range, this is a powerful guitar, loaded with the US DeArmond pickups for 'Grunt' ( Technical Term). The body has tone chambers, giving a more colourful tone, with the famous Bigsby Horseshoe trem system for a more characterful wobble (another Technical Term). The neck sits nicely in the hand, being a more vintage shape, but still enables accurate bending. Very nice. Overall this is a good instrument with a lot of character for many different styles of music. Normally a very reasonable £399, the introductory offer on this guitar is only:
