	£299	Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass One of the newest series of Squier basses these VMs give the best of the classic instruments, modernised for ease of playing where necessary, and at Squier's fantastic value. This is their 'Model That Never Was' a Jaguar style bass with a very slim, fast neck and the PJ combination of pickups to give the best sounds from both. The body shape is very balancedwith the upper bout compensating for the neck making it very comfortable to play. The Duncan Designed pickups give tone and definition, and the hardware is solid. Excellent value, and complete with a gig bag.
	SOLD	G&L L-2000 Bass Something of a gem this. G&L have always made a high quality product - being Leo Fender's last company - and these Tribute series are no exception. Superb materials well combined give this a comfortable, modern feel and the versatile electrics, with a combination of phase switching and active tone controls, give a huge variety of sounds. This is an instrument for any role. Pro quality at an affordable price these should be £585. Complete with gig bag.
	£499	Jackson CMG Concert Bass Another favourite these are ROCK basses, but they will fit into a multitude of roles with their versatile active electrics. This one has a big neck, ideal for that powerful dig in you sometimes just have to do. This will thump with the best of them. This instrument has come from Fender's 'Bumped&Bashed' so it has a couple of minor little dings in the body - but you'd hardly notice. Hence the good price. Complete with a quality gig bag.
	SOLD	Cort Action Bass I bought this bass to get a modern style instrument to fit this price bracket, that still had a decent build - and this fits the bill. Properly made with good balance and a very playable neck this will handle all styles. The pickups are the versatile PJ configuration and - coupled with decent body wood - give a satisfying thump when needed. This is excellent value - complete with gig bag.
	SOLD	BC Rich Warlock Revenge Bass Subtle no. Loud yes. Pointy - oh yes. I had to have one of these to satisfy my ROCK cravings. It is, however a very playable instrument, handling the fast runs and solid thumps needed with aplomb. Amazing for such a good value bass. A truly excellent instrument and I'm addind a gig bag, as these are very hard to come by for this style.
